The Economic Crime Authority prevents, detects, interrupts, investigates, and prosecutes economic crimes. Our 800 employees have various competencies and professional roles, such as prosecutors, police officers, economic crime investigators, administrators, and other specialists, all working together against economic crime. We are now looking for someone who wants to work as an administrator at the Economic Crime Authority's national volume crime unit in Sundsvall for 12 months. Workplace
The national volume crime unit is located in Sundsvall and is organizationally part of the economic crime chamber in Umeå. The unit is responsible for registering, assessing, and distributing incoming reports as well as handling volume cases. At the volume crime unit, administrators and prosecutors work together. The administrators are based in Sundsvall, while the prosecutors are located at one of the authority's economic crime chambers. Investigation resources for volume cases are provided by the authority's economic crime chambers. The unit also employs staff linked to the investigation and prosecution activities of the economic crime chamber.
Job Responsibilities
You will work independently but also in teams with other administrators and prosecutors at the unit. Your main task is to provide support and service to the economic crime chambers and the volume crime function in their operations. Your tasks include:
- Providing administrative support primarily to prosecutors during the course of a case. This includes everything from making inquiries in registers, registering new cases, and obtaining extracts and other materials.
- Working in the authority's diary system and other IT support, so you should feel comfortable handling several different internal programs. General office tasks such as email and mail management are also part of the daily routine.
- Being the outward contact in many contexts and always providing good service to the public, authorities, and others within the justice system, primarily via phone and email.
You will be part of a team of administrators who work closely together with shared responsibility for tasks and who support each other as needed.
Requirements
We are looking for someone who has:
- Completed upper secondary education or other education deemed relevant by the employer.
- At least two years of experience in the last five years working with administrative tasks or experience deemed relevant by the Economic Crime Authority.
- Good computer skills and is an experienced user of the Microsoft Office suite.
- Good knowledge of Swedish in both spoken and written form.
It is advantageous if you also have:
- Experience working as an administrator within the justice system or other relevant fields, e.g., law firms.
- Experience working with IT programs Cåbra or DurTvå.
- Post-secondary studies from a college or university in a relevant field such as administration, IT, economics, or law, e.g., paralegal education.
